Obituary of Katherine Brande

Mrs. Katherine Elizabeth Smith Brande, born April 17, 1924, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2012. Katherine lived her life for the Lord and He has graciously fulfilled her life long journey to go home to Heaven with Him. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Friday, at Lakeview Memorial Park, with the Reverend Paul Willis officiating. Mrs. Brande , married to the late Louie William Brande and a member of Cathedral of His Glory. In addition to her parents, Luther and Lottie Smith, and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Cockman and a brother, Andrew Smith. Mrs. Brande is survived by her daughter, Becky Tolbert (Danny); sons, Doyle Brande (Susie) and Perry Brande; sisters, Mary Combs (Bud) and Grace O'Brien; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Thursday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
