Obituary of Betty Ruth Miller Moore

Betty Ruth Miller Moore of Julian, North Carolina died at Moses Cone Hospital Sunday, January 28, 2018. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ray Backer. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm prior to the service. She was the daughter of the late Wilma Carroll and Willie Raymond Miller of Reidsville, NC. Also preceding Betty was her husband Willie Norman Moore and daughter Susan Moore Hitchcock and R.W (Bob) Hitchcock of Bonita Springs, Florida. Betty was active at Southeast Guilford Community Center, Southeast Fire Auxiliary and Meal on Wheels. Reading was her hobby and Betty was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church. Surviving are daughter Cynthia Lynn Moore Smith (wife of Dennis Smith) of Burleson, Texas and son Douglas Raymond Moore. Betty was a proud grandmother.
