Obituary of Janice A. Roland

Janice A. Roland, 75, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital. The family will have a private service at a later date. Janice was born in Alamance County on April 30, 1942 a daughter to the late Clarence W. Ashburn and Virginia Hatley Ashburn. She was a homemaker and married to John Keith Roland, Sr. In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her son, J. Keith Roland, Jr.; sisters, Donna Carol Ashburn, Sandra Ashburn Coffer and brother, Gary L. Ashburn. She is survived by her husband of the home; daughters, Deborah Kaye Roland, Donna Roland Ryals and husband Mike Lawson; sister, Jane A. Nelson and husband Bruce, grandsons, L. Chad Ryals and partner Katrina and M. Dustin Ryals; great grandson, Dakota Keith Adams Ryals. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
