Obituary of Barry Rush Murray

Barry Rush Murray, 60, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Friday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home Chapel. with Reverend Chris Cox, Rick Moore and Wilbur Peyton officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. Barry was born in Guilford County on June 17, 1957 son to the late Worth Baxter Murray and Helen Nance Murray. He was a graduate of Northeast Guilford High School, owned and operated Murray Heating & Air Conditioning, a true Carolina fan, an avid motorcycle rider, and a member of drag racing organizations, EOPM and PDRA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Doug Murray and mother-in-law, Peggy Kellam. Surviving is his wife Kathie Lamb Murray; step sons, Eddie, Chris and wife Jennifer; grandsons, Jace and Travis and granddaughter Anna; sister, Lynda Murray; niece Michelle Murray; sister-in-law, Sandra Murray. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
