Family Make-A-Memory Bear Workshop
August 16, 2018
6 PM - 7:30 PM
Families will work together to create a keepsake bear (one per child) out of a piece of clothing or fabric that reminds them of the special person who died.
1. Choose a piece of clothing that reminds you of your loved one. There should be about 1/2 yard of fabric— about the size of a large adult T-shirt. Pieces of fabric that work well include a button-down shirt, pajamas or a robe.
2. Bring the fabric to Kids Path at 2504 Summit Avenue. Fabric must be delivered to the Kids Path receptionist no later than Friday, July 20 in order for your fabric to be prepped for the workshop. Please note: The piece of fabric will be cut, re-sewn and permanently altered to make the bear. In some cases, there will not be any leftover fabric.
