Danny Jefferson
Location Leader

Danny is a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science where he earned a Scholastic Achievement Award. He also was on the dean's list through all semesters. Danny came to Kernersville with 34 years funeral experience. He is a National licensed funeral director/embalmer and also a licensed life insurance agent. Danny is a member of First Christian Church.

Danny has serves as Chairperson for the Korners Folly Foundation Board, Board of Care Net Counseling Center, and is a member of the Board for the Natural Science Center in Greensboro. He is also a member of the Kernersville Lions Club and is a past District Governor for Lions District 31-D. He is a Melvin Jones Fellow and has also served on numerous state committees as well.

Danny served on the board for Hospice, the Music Academy of North Carolina, The Shepherd's Center of Kernersville, Kernersville Chamber of Commerce, the former Downtown Council, and CrimeStoppers. He has chaired numerous fund raising committees and has helped raise over $1,000,000 for various charities around the Triad. Danny is a 2005 Graduate of Leadership Kernersville and is also an after dinner and motivational speaker. Danny is married to the former Rosette Ambrose. They have four children Jonathan, Nikki, Joshua, and Jordan. They also have three grandsons Jack, Ramsey, and Noah.

Leigh Hunnicutt Armentrout
​Funeral Director

Leigh Hunnicutt Armentrout is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Leigh is a licensed Funeral Director with over 10 years experience in the funeral industry.  Leigh is also a NC licensed Life and Health Insurance Agent. She is married to Charles Armentrout, IV and they have two children Charlie and Shelby.



Alva L. Fair
Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Alva L. Fair, Jr., “Al” is a licensed funeral director and embalmer, with years of experience as a preneed counselor. He obtained his funeral service license after graduating from Fayetteville Technical Community College in their funeral service program where he earned an associates degree in applied science of funeral service in 1996. He then passed his national board of funeral service exam and acquired his North Carolina Funeral Service license in 1998. During his 24 year career in the funeral industry he has also been constantly involved in community activities. He is past president of the Eden, NC Jaycees, 2002 – 2003, with membership from 2000 – 2004, a past member of the Eden Kiwanis during 2006 and 2007, a past member of the cemetery board for Overlook Cemetery in Eden, NC, and a past member of the Eden Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Al has also served membership in the Rotary Club of Greensboro from 2016 - 2017. A native of Eden, Al graduated from Morehead Senior High School class of 1992. He spent  11 years in the Boy Scouts of America from 1984 until 1995, serving as a leader and as an assistant scoutmaster where he earned the award of Eagle Scout. He is currently associated with Scout Troop 567 with plans to become a certified leader.  Al has also been in many bands playing music for years in local festivals and gatherings throughout Rockingham County and the Greensboro Triad area, along with playing in local church praise bands. He has been a drummer/musician for 34 years. He is married to Amanda Wilson Fair, and has three sons, Aidan, Nathan and Michael Fair.



Trish VanDenBroeke
Office Manager

Trish has been involved in funeral service for eighteen years and began her service with Lambeth-Troxler in 2006. She is a graduate of High Point Central High School and Randolph Community College. Her favorite place is the beach and spending time with her family. “In the 1990’s I was working on the surgical floor at a local hospital. I decided I needed a change in my career. That’s when I chose funeral service. I would still be serving people, but in a different capacity. I want every family we serve to know that it’s our privilege each and every time to honor their loved one.”



Amanda Micaela Cook
Funeral Service Apprentice

Micaela is a funeral service apprentice from Browns Summit, NC. She will finish her funeral service program, at FTCC, in the summer of 2018 and plans to then acquire her funeral service license. After graduating with honors from Northeast Guilford High School in 2012, she spent a few years at UNCG working on a bachelors degree in human development and family studies with a concentration in child, youth, and family development, and was a mentor and member of the community volunteer organization, Make a Difference House Living Learning Community of UNCG. Later, she began her funeral service career and started the funeral service and mortuary science program at Fayetteville Technical Community College. Being a native of Browns Summit, she enjoys working on the farm, and is very active in helping her parents with the family dog business, Cook Farm Kennels.



Linda Walker
Funeral Associate

Linda began her service with Lambeth-Troxler in 2001. She graduated from Seagrove High School, obtained an Associate Degree in Accounting from Asheboro Business College and attended Guilford Technical Community College. A native of Asheboro, Linda has lived in Greensboro most of her adult life. She worked in education for twenty-two years and retired early to care for her parents. After their deaths, she came to work for Lambeth-Troxler. She attends Charity Baptist Church, a supporter of Covenant International Evangelistic Association and has participated in their mission trips. "As a teenager, I always had a great interest in funeral service. My job is a very rewarding experience. I consider my position as a calling to be there for our families as they grieve and cope with the most difficult time in their lives.”



Helen Compton
Funeral Associate

Helen began her service with Lambeth-Troxler in 2007. She is a high school graduate and furthered her education in business. Helen is the mother of four children, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, a Charter Member of Sharpe Road Baptist Church and former secretary. Helen enjoys spending her time mowing and keeping her yard, walking, riding bicycle and visiting shut-ins. She has a great love of the beach and Pigeon Forge, TN.



Bruce Chrismon
Funeral Associate

Bruce began his service with Lambeth-Troxler in 2010. Bruce has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is a retired financial institution executive who enjoys photography, gardening, playing with his great grandson and is a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. “The ability to help individuals and families going through grief is extremely gratifying to me personally. Everyone deserves a professional service and I enjoy providing that level of service in a difficult time.”



Larry Peeden
Funeral Associate

Larry began his service with Lambeth-Troxler in 2011. Larry received his GED from Guilford Technical Community College. He and his wife have five children one which is now deceased, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren and a member of Emmanuel Wesleyan Church. “I think a funeral service is a time that brings families together in one place. We honor the deceased, but we need to focus on the family. Hoping that we can show them how much they need to support and love each other in their time of grief.”



Jim Dunigan
Funeral Associate

Jim was born and raised in Massachusetts. Graduate of Merrimack College in North Andover, MA. He is married to Ginny Dunigan and is the father of three children, seven grandchildren and one great grand daughter. He worked in the floor covering and furniture business as Vice President on national and international accounts traveling to over 72 countries. Jim is a member of St. Pius Catholic Church and very active in the church's various ministries. Jim brings a great wealth and passion for his service to our families and a very valued asset to our firm.



Dr. Don Clement
Funeral Assistant

Don was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida and was a sales and marketing professional in Tennessee and Georgia for 14 years before accepting God’s call to church ministry in 1992. He and his wife Dawn moved to Wake Forest, NC to begin his Master’s degree in Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Upon completion of that degree, he began church pastorates in Alamance, Caswell and Guilford county churches. Don is locally known for his counseling expertise, especially in the areas of family life and personal finances. With his pastoral care experience, he has been assisting families with planning funeral services for the past 20 years and is gratified when he can help people through one of the toughest times of their lives. He was awarded his Doctorate degree in Christian Counseling from Luther Rice University in 2007. He also holds an active North Carolina life insurance license and has assisted individuals and couples in retirement planning for the past 13 years. Along with currently serving as Pastor of Palm Street Christian Church and Lead Teaching Elder of Fellowship Greensboro, Don serves as Triad Network Coordinator for Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Church and is on the Board of Directors for Simple Matters, a Honduras-based missions organization that serves needy children there. He has been married to wife Dawn for 35 years. She is the owner of Sew Heavenly, a specialty sewing business located in Old Irving Park Business Center. They are proud to be grandparents to Fiona and Lochlin.



Allen Boone
Funeral Associate

Allen is a native of Alamance County, North Carolina and began with our firm in April 2017.



Merle W. Neal
Licensed Funeral Director/Advanced Planning Advisor

Merle has lived in Greensboro for over 35 years and has been in the funeral profession for over 33 years. She is a strong, compassionate person dedicated to supporting families through their time of loss. She believes each person is different so each funeral should reflect that difference. Merle has four grown children, three step-sons and 16 grandchildren. She loves sewing, embroidery, and crocheting. She and her husband Clyde enjoy camping and spoiling their many grandchildren. She has been a member of the Hamilton Lakes Lions Club where she has served as secretary for several years. A member of Guilford Park Presbyterian Church and active in Circle One.
