Obituary of Pauline A. McCormick

Pauline Ann (Harnisfager) McCormick, 77, was born to John and Edna Childs Harnisfager on August 2, 1940 in Lima, Ohio. She passed away surrounded by family on June 5, 2018 in Greensboro, NC. She married Robert E. McCormick on April 5, 1958 and was a devoted wife and mother. She was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi, and DAVA. She volunteered many years for family services while her husband served in the military, and also volunteered for multiple cancer awareness organizations. Pauline was an amazing woman! She had a heart of gold, and always stayed positive and was easy to talk to, always willing to listen. She affected the lives of everyone around her. She taught us to be kind and patient, and to keep our heads up and to stay strong. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. McCormick, two daughters Debbie (McCormick) King and husband Jason King, Barb (McCormick) Rawlins, three brothers Jim and wife Gayle, Ron and wife Brenda and Roger Harnisfager, six grandchildren, Tiffany, Kayla, Robby, Tony, Brandy, and Steffany and eight great grandchildren. “We will miss talking to you every day, and we will miss your good advice, your amazing ability to stay positive, your sense of humor, hearing your laugh, playing pinochle and watching football. We know your strong faith will take you to a better place.” A small memorial gathering will be held on Saturday June 9, 2018, 1 pm at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home, 300 W.
