Obituary of Cordelia "Janie" Reynolds

Cordelia “Janie” Reynolds, age 73 of Greensboro, NC passed away June 16, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. There will be a Memorial Gathering at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home on Thursday June 21 from 2 pm until 4 pm.

Cordelia was born on February 12, 1945 in Abingdon, VA to the late Marion and Hazel R. Reed. She has lived in Greensboro for years and worked with MBF making ribbons for dog shows.

Surviving are her daughter Sarah Louise Reynolds of the home, her son Wayne Reynolds and wife Amy of Virginia, three grandsons Emmanuel Reynolds, McKinnley Sean Reynolds, Greyson Reynolds, one granddaughter Amanda Rose, sisters Lula Arnold and husband Jay of Tennessee, Vivian Canter of Roanoke, VA, brothers Robert Reed of Greensboro and Isaac Reed of Rocky Mt., VA and a very special friend Henry McCollum along with many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Preceding her in death along with her parents are her son James Reynolds, a grandchild Christian Reynolds, a brother J.R. Reed and a sister Virgie Thomas.
