Please allow me to extend my heartfelt condolences for the recent loss of your dear love one. I know what an empty and helpless feeling a death in one's family can cause. Be assured that God is willing and able to assist us when we are facing difficult times such as this. May you find comfort in his words found at Psalms 46:1.

Mom Reaves was always the women I wanted to become. She had such a zest for life. She had more energy and enthusiasm. She and i were in the Agape group together for years. Beach trips and Christmas parties were always special when she came. My children were in the youth group and she was always there for them. My daugher Heather loved to go to the farm. Granpa would call and pick her up,she was about4 then. You would need to add a digit to her age today. So many precious memories. Love to all that knew her.

Mom was an important part of my life for many years. My former husband and I were in that first Young Adult SS class. We decided we needed guidance as a class and we chose Mom and Dad of all the members of our church. We looked up to them and they immersed themselves into all our lives. The children began to be born and suddenly they were Grandparents to a whole generation. Little did we know that Mom would go on to be Grandma to hundreds of youth. Mom and Dad led us by example. We looked to them for a true example of how Christ would have us live. My love for Mom is deep, my respect for her immense. She is a permanent fixture in my heart. I am in prayer for her family and the hundreds of people whose lives were changed because she was in them.

I was one of the many youth who had the honor of being acquainted with “Grandma” Reaves! She was hands down the coolest septuagenarian(when I knew her) I have ever come across. She had no trouble keeping up with me and my pals Colin, Gaylord, Zach and others and always was so very young at heart. I haven’t seen or talked to Grandma in probably 20 years but still think of her fondly and will remember her spirit and spunk forever. Godspeed “Grandma”! Thanks for showing us that age is not a barrier to connection with others. You impacted a lot of lives for the better!
Love,
Drew Powell

She was my hero. You could look into those blues eyes and see nothing but love. I loved to simply be in her presence. It was a life well lived, Grandma. "Well done good and faithful servant.
