Obituary of Alma L. Russell

Alma L. Russell, 84, passed away at home June 30, 2018 , surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be 2:00PM Friday July 6, 2018 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Alma was born January 13, 1934 Waterloo, NY to the late Ella and Andrew Keller.  She was one of eight children, of which her sister Elsie Johnson survives.  In addition to her parents and siblings, she is predeceased by her husband Emmett Russell.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Judy Vaughan, and Kim Clark and husband Edward; grandchildren, Michael Vaughan, Tyler Vaughan, Katie Vaughan, Taylor Clark and Jackson Clark; and the father of her children, Donald DeWind.

Alma was a very loving and caring mother. She enjoyed supporting her daughters and grandchildren in all of their activities. She had a very personable character, which was evident in her relationships with friends and all those that knew her.  She was also very passionate about her animal friends and pets. 

Judy, Kim and the family want to give a special thanks to all of her previous care-givers and the staff at Heritage Greens.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00PM on Friday prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
