Obituary of Hazel May Johnson

Hazel May Johnson, 75 years old, born on February 10, 1943, went home to be with the Lord on October 20, 2018.

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 2:00PM Saturday November 3, 2018 at the Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joe Mendez officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

A native of Kingston, Jamaica, Hazel was the daughter of the late Amy Johnson(Grant) and Sydney George Mighty. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her siblings Floyd Grant, Winston Lambert and Carvett Mighty; husbands Lynden Knott, father of her five children, and Elisha Johnson.

Survivors include her children Lanze Knott, Devon Knott, Clifton Knott, Denise Knott, and Dianne Knott; grandchildren Dale Wolfe, Nardian Wolfe, Shanice Knott, Shaniel Wolfe, Tiffany Branford, Dorien Poyser, James Branford, Daniel Knott, and Olivia Knott; siblings from the Grant side include Cecile Grant, Anthony Grant, Dawn Foster Grant, Michael Grant, and Maxine Grant; siblings from the Mighty side include Salamon Mighty, Verley Motrin, Norman Mighty, Gwendolyn Mighty, Jennifer Mighty, Jacquline Mighty, and John Mighty; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will visit with friends from 12:00pm Noon Saturday November 3, 2018 until 2:00pm, the time for the service, at the funeral home.
