My thoughts and prayers are with y’all. I always enjoyed talking with Charlie at Hamilton Lakes Pool. I had the pleasure of watching his sons grow up there. He was a fine man and a great member of the club. May God bless you with wonderful memories. Sincerely, Ron Hartsook

Shirlene and I would like to express our sincere sympathy to Virginia, Jim, Chuck, and the entire Tedder Family for the loss of a wonderful Christian Gentleman - and my good friend, Charlie. We had the privilege of serving in the Air Force together from May 1955 thru January of 1956. We attended schools together at Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming where we first became friends and after that at the Army Adjutant's School in Indiana.
Several years ago I got to thinking about Charlie and found where he lived. I got his phone number and we renewed our friendship by phone. About eight years ago while visiting my wife's sister in Fayetteville, we met in Sanford and had lunch together. We shot the "bull" together talking about old times for about two hours.....we had not seen each other since February of 1956. Since then we had frequent calls together taking about old times, sports, our Faith and most of all our Families...we had a lot in common. I will miss him.
May our Loving God continue to Comfort and Bless you all.

I was privileged to work with Mr. Tedder at Dees Giles when they were in theWachovia Building downtown. He was an outstanding employer. He was truly a Southern gentleman. He was the only attorney I ever worked with that I would have gone back to work with. He will always be special to us because of his help with securing Dr. Krege to help with my husband's back surgery. With sincere sympathy.
