Obituary of Christopher Michael Baynes

Christopher Michael Baynes, 51, of Greensboro, NC passed away at home December 28, 2019. He was born June 5, 1968 in Columbia, SC.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, January 4, 2019, 12:00pm, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home with Pastor James Sweeney officiating. The family will visit from 11:00am-12:00pm prior to the service. Interment will follow service at Hillsdale Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 Scalesville Road, Summerfield, NC.

Those left to cherish his memory include father, Mike Baynes; mother, Caroline S. Powers; stepmother (mom), Melanie Baynes; brother, Tony Baynes; stepbrothers, Jody Cook Jr. and Chad Powers; and sister, Meah Washington.

Chris was a fun loving person. He loved all his buddies & families; he enjoyed playing with their children and pick on them. 

He worked as a pipe fitter all his life and was also a supervisor.

Chris loved his family and would do anything for them.

He had a loved for sports, NASCAR, football, golf, and boxing. 

Chris was caring and generous when he could; his family will miss him very much.
