Obituary of Lueseal "Tip" Sawyer

Lueseal “Tip” Sawyer was born in Bethania, NC and lived in Winston-Salem, NC until 95 years of age. After a prolonged illness, she made her transition to Heaven Wednesday March 11, 2020.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 12:00PM Monday March 16, 2020 at Piedmont Memorial Gardens, 3663 Piedmont Memorial Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27107. The family will greet friends from 10:30AM to 11:30AM Monday at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel, 213 West Mountain Street, Kernersville, NC 27284.

She was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church where she looked forward to attending Sunday School and singing in the choir. Her favorite things to do each day included watching western movies and working in her flowers garden.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Clamil Givens; two sons, William Lee Robinson and Joseph Sawyer. Survivors include her son, Clifton E. Sawyer and his wife, Antoinette; grandson, Joe W. Muldrow; two granddaughters, Adrian Muldrow and Angelita Yuvette Robinson; cousin, Mrs. Rose Anthony; and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
