Obituary of Robert Lee Nelson

Robert Lee Nelson, 89, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully Wednesday April 15, 2020.

Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held at 2:00PM Saturday April 18, 2020 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel with Dr. Stephen Martin officiating.  Interment will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.

A native of Eden, NC, Robert was the husband of Rebecca S. Nelson and the son of the late Elsie Corns Nelson.

Survivors include his son, Edward Nelson of Walkertown, NC; daughter, Jane Jarrett of Kernersville, NC; and grandchildren, Jessica Nelson and Hunter Nelson.

In addition to his mother, Robert was preceded in death by his brothers, Marshall James Nelson and Akers C. Nelson; and his sister, Cassie Smith Nelson.
