Obituary of Kathy Johnston

Kathy Johnston, 68, passed away June 21, 2020.

Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held 5:00PM Wednesday June 24, 2020 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Martin officiating. Interment will be in the Salisbury National Cemetery at a later date. The family will visit with friends from 4:00PM Wednesday until 5:00PM at the funeral home.

A native of Malone, New York, Kathy was the daughter of the late Viola Baker Tierney and Darwin Tierney. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia Tierney and Darlene Bell; and her brother-in-law, John Sullivan.

Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Bob Johnston of the home; daughter, Jennifer McFadden and Richard of Kernersville; sons, David Johnston and Sarah, and Jacob Johnston all of Kernersville, and Robert Johnston of Winter Springs, Florida; grandchildren, Violet, Jordan, Stephanie, Keagan, Lillian, Thomas, and Scott; sister, Linda Sullivan of Malone, NY; brothers, Joe Tierney and Marty Tierney both of Malone, NY; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
