Obituary of Louise Hathcock Alessio Knight

Louise Hathcock Alessio Knight, 95, of High Point, NC passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 10, 2021.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date.

A native Darlington, SC, Louise was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Hathcock and Margaret Elizabeth Rogers Hathcock. She was a member of Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church in High Point, NC for 10 years. Louise was a caring, devoted and much loved mother, grandmother and friend. She was a very talented homemaker and loved cooking, cake decorating, and was a very accomplished seamstress. She made beautiful clothing for her loved ones, including prom dresses and wedding dresses. Her favorite pastime was shopping. Louise will be truly missed by all that knew her.

Survivors include her daughters, Angela Alessio Sieglitz and husband, Richard, and JoAnne Alessio Scrofani; sons, Gerry Alessio, and Frank Alessio and wife, Maria; grandchildren, David Sieglitz, Heidi Pallas, Tricia Lord, Jodi Scrofani, Laura Jones, Natalie Alessio, Rachel Ferizovic, Frank Alessio, Jr., and De-Ann Cook; and many great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her siblings, Ruth Hathcock, Robert Hathcock, Jr., William Hathcock, Caroline Mills, and Roger Hathcock.
