Obituary of Rebecca Sapp Moore

Rebecca Sapp Moore, 82, of Kernersville, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. 

Born, July 1, 1939 in Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the late Mildred Sapp. Rebecca was a faithful member of First Christian Church, and was a strong woman of faith. She married the love of her life Donald Gray Moore on June 12, 1964. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Donald Moore of the home; son, Michael Long (Vicky); grandsons, Joshua Long (Alanna), Justin Long; great-grandsons, Camden and Landon; and numerous extended family members and special friends 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday August 24, 2021, in the chapel of Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service-Kernersville Chapel with Dr. Pete Kunkle officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 AM prior to the service. Burial will be in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory following the funeral service.  

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Rebecca’s memory be directed to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
