Obituary of Larry Eugene Batten

Larry Eugene Batten, 78 of Greensboro passed away peacefully on Sunday October 17, 2021 at Trinity Glen Assisted Living facility in Winston Salem.

Larry was born June 26th,1943.  He loved to fish, cookout, listen to blue grass music and was a huge Duke Blue Devils fan.

The Lord welcomed him home for a reunion with his wife Frances of 37 years and his daughter Teresa.  He was also reunited with his parents Inez Jones and Edward Batten, his brother Marvin Batten and his sister Betty Batten.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Tony Batten,Tammy Sparks (Harold), Marvin Batten (Kathy), Keith Batten (Erin), Kim Hysmith (Jimmy); grandchildren Jeff, Jenny, Ashley, Lauren, Madyson, Mark, Kendall and Emarie; great-grandchildren Kaylen, Jackson
Dyson, Axel, Ace, Charlotte, Avery and Liam; and his sister Bonnie Huffman.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 20th from 1:00PM to 2:30PM in the Chapel at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral and Cremation Services - Lambeth Chapel, 300 West Wendover Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27408.   A Graveside Service will follow at 3:00PM Wednesday, October 20th in Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery, 3600 N. Ohenry Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27405.
