Obituary of William Hester

Mr. William H. Hester, 78, formerly of Greensboro, died Friday, October 23, 2009, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice, in Wilmington. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, at Lankford Memorial Baptist Church, with the Reverend Mark Sink and Reverend Bud Parrish officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mr. Hester was born in Guilford County, July 26, 1931, to Fred and Martha Crutchfield Hester. He retired from Cone Mills and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Hester is survived by his wife of over 52 years, Faye Holley Hester; a daughter, Janet Clonch and husband JC, of Wilmington; granddaughter, Debra Del Santo and husband Lee, of Albemarle; great-grandchildren, Brooke Del Santo and Eric Lee 'Little Lee' Del Santo III; a sister, Alma Epperson and husband Earl, of Greensboro.
