Obituary of Inez Barber

Greensboro Ms. Inez Roberts Barber, 85, of Greensboro passed away Sunday October 4, 2009 at her residence. Inez was born in Guilford County on December 28, 1923 the daughter of Relie and Emma Moore Roberts. She was a graduate of Rankin High School and was a member of Martin Avenue Baptist Church. Inez retired from Dow Corning and enjoyed riding motorcycles, gardening and crocheting. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother who loved her family. Inez was preceded in death by her brother RV Roberts. Surviving are two daughters Penny Smith and husband Aubrey and Susan Bowman both of Greensboro; a son Jimmy Barber and wife Nancy of Summerfield; a sister Jeanette Pugh of Greensboro; six grandchildren, Ashley Smith, Justin, Emily and Katie Bowman and Leland and Hayley Barber. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday in the chapel of Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home by Dr. James Talbert. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
