Obituary of Bertha Busick

Mrs. Bertha Lea Busick, 89, of Gibsonville, went home to be with her savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, June 18, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, June 21, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend Luther Brame and Reverend Mark Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Apple's Chapel Christian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Busick was born October 26, 1919 in Guilford County, to Thurman and Ollie Gregory Pinkleton. She was married to the late Charlie Anderson Busick. In addition to her parent and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Edward 'Ed' Busick, sisters, Ida Baldwin and Mozelle (Keith) Holt, and a brother, Jack Pinkleton. Mrs. Busick is survived by her daughters, Mae Busick Land and her husband Robert, Amanda Busick (Charlie) Case and Mertis 'Crickett' Busick Pegram and her husband Jeryl; daughter-in-law, Helen Busick; brother, Charlie (Barbara) Pinkleton; brother-in-law, Jack Baldwin; grandchildren, Sherri (Mark) Smith, Karen (Mark) Brown, Darren (Angie Huffines) Case, Lisa (Greg) Moser, Tammy (Todd) Chapmon, Heather Pegram, and Paige Case (Bridgett Hodge); great-grandchildren, Abbie and Adam Smith, Justin, Caleb, and Natalie Brown, Joseph (Michelle Bates), Lauren, and Kyle Moser, Brianna, Conner, and Ashland Chapmon, Courtney and April Case, Summer and Shawn Huffines; great-great-grandchild, Lilly Moser. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Service, and at other times at the homes of her daughters, Mae Land and Amanda Case, of the home.
