Obituary of Ella Cockman

Mrs. Ella May Combs Cockman, 65, of Mcleansville, died Monday, May 11, 2009, at Wesley Long Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel, with Brother Jess Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mrs. Cockman was born November 22, 1943, in Pulaski, VA, to Grover and Mabel Southern Combs. She was a member of Pineland Street Full Gospel Church, a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Mrs. Cockman is survived by her husband, Roy D. Cockman; daughters, Kathy C. Tucker and husband George, of High Point, Tammy C. McGraw and husband John, of Jacksonville, Fl; brothers, Junior (Grover) Combs, of Maryland, Gordon Combs, of Greensboro, and Buddy Combs, of Liberty; Six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
