Obituary of Jimmie Pittman

Mrs. Kathleen 'Mickey' Pittman, 76, of Greensboro, died Sunday, March 15, 2009, at Blumenthal Jewish Nursing Home. A cryptside services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, at Guilford Memorial Park, with the Reverend Carolyn Sims officiating. Mrs. Pittman was born March 1, 1933, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to George and Adgie Davis. She retired from P Lorillard Tobacco Company where she had been a loyal and dedicated employee. She loved to cook and feed family and friends and was a passionate gardener. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Harold Davis, Howard Davis, Charles Davis, and AC Davis, and a sister, Helen Brewer. Mrs. Pittman is survived by her husband Cecil Pittman; sisters, Alice Barber, of Whispering Pines, Lorraine Moore and husband Clayton, of Carthage, and Mary Elizabeth Potts, of Asheboro; several nieces and nephews.
