Obituary of Willia Boliek

Mrs. Willia Mae Bowlin Boliek, 83, formerly of Greensboro, passed away Saturday October 22, 2011, surrounded by her loving family in Garner, NC. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Monday, October 24th, at Oakgrove Baptist Church Cemetery, 4542 NC 772 Hwy, Madison, NC with the Reverend James Wall officiating. Mrs. Boliek was born April 6, 1928, to Lemmie and Elsie Reid Bowlin. She was married to the late Gene Boliek for over 27 years. Mrs. Boliek retired from Sears after 25 years of service. Her faith, family, and friends were central in her life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, needlecrafts, gardening, and traveling, Mrs. Boliek was preceded in death by her sister Patsy Bowlin Hall. She is survived by her children, Katrina Boliek Abell and husband the late Dale Abell of Garner, Mark Eugene Boliek and wife Alison Ridley, of Roanoke, VA, Suzanne Boliek Veazey and husband Craig, of Weddington; grandchildren, Carrie Abell Walton and husband Jud, of Garner, Clay Abell, of Clayton, Dana Boliek, of Wilmington, Gracie Boliek, of Fairfax, VA, Claire and Rachel Veazey, of Weddington; great-grandchild, Reid Walton, of Garner; nieces, Vicki Olson, of Madison, Kathy Mizelle, of Greensboro. The Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 Sunday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home.
