Obituary of Francis Arthur Carrier

Kernersville, NC Francis Arthur Carrier, 99, went home to be with his Lord on December 21, 2017. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home Chapel, Wendover Ave., Greensboro with interment to follow in Carolina Biblical Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his wives Virginia Farlow Carrier and Lucille Freeman Carrier. He is survived by his sons, Fritz D. Carrier ( Sandra), James A. Carrier (Shawn) and Cecil L. Carrier; 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was a Navigator Bombardier in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He flew 63 missions in a B26 and retired as a Major from the Air Force. After the war he became a minister and was a member of Friendly Avenue Baptist Church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army or Friendly Avenue Baptist Church.
