Obituary of Anthony George

Anthony George age 48 was born on May 14, 1969 in Brooklyn, NY to Clarissa George. Having a love for music, he enjoyed being a DJ as a member of The Juice Crew back in his teen years. Anthony graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School which is where he first met his wife Renee Hubbard. Although they never dated in High School, after graduation they both went down separate paths. In 1995 Anthony and Renee got reacquainted, fell in love and decided to relocate to Greensboro, NC in 2001. Twelve years of dating led to a beautiful union of marriage on July 14, 2007. They were happy until the day God called Anthony home. We will be celebrating his life 1 pm Saturday May 5th, 2018 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel.

Anthony was a hard working family man. He worked as a truck driver for Vasinee Food Corporation for 20 plus years, however he stepped out on his own to start his one man trucking operation. He named his company CTAC Corporation, each letter for the first name of his children. C (Carlesia), T (Tony), A (Andria) and C (Christopher). His coworkers at Vasinee loved Anthony like a family member. His customers also adored him over the years. As a man of hard work ethic, integrity and dignity, he instilled the same values and morals into his children. Anthony and Renee gave their life to Christ while attending their home church in NC named What Jesus Did Ministries International together back in 2006. They have continued to be believers in Christ and always prayed for their children and family members to find love and peace in their lives.

Anthony is survived by his loving wife, Renee George, his mother Clarissa George, daughters Carlesia and Andria, sons Anthony George II and Christopher. He is also survived by his daughter in law Lilo Hubbard, grandchildren, Dillyn Brunson and Kailani Hubbard as well as many family members and friends who loved him dearly. We will miss him.
