Obituary of Pauline Staley Pearson

Pauline "Peggy" Staley Pearson passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Westchester Manor in High Point, NC. She now resides with her Lord and Savior. She had been in declining health for several months. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hyatt Pearson.

Born August 2, 1928 to John and Elsie Staley of Julian, NC, she was a member of Johnson Baptist Church and loved gospel music. Surviving are her daughters Carolyn Austin and husband Mark, Gail Cooper and husband Randy, grandchildren, Gary and Heather Cooper, one sister Barbara Rumley and many nieces and nephews.

A very special thank you to her faithful neighbor, Doug Oakley who checked on her and Lupita Garcia who stayed with her. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Westchester Manor who took care of her and to Hospice for their care, compassion and love shown to her.

There will be a graveside service held Friday May 18th, 2018 in the Westminster Gardens Mausoleum Chapel at 2 pm. The private burial will follow, with Rev. Larry Andrews presiding over the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Hospice of The Triad.
