Send Flowers Arizonie Revere “A. R.” Musten July 4, 1928 - December 8, 2011 Kernersville-Arizonie Revere "A. R." Musten, 83, passed away following a brief illness on December 8, 2011. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 2:00PM Monday at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. R. Donald Winters officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery. A native of Forsyth County, he was the son of the late Minnie Lee Hull and Amos N. Musten. A.R. was a lifetime member of Kernersville Moravian Church. He retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company. He was married to the late Delois Ann Whitley. He was also preceded in death by his son Stephen Musten and great-granddaughter Sierra Overby. Survivors include his daughter Patricia Overby and Jimmy of Germanton; granddaughters Christie Overby and Angie Overby; grandsons Stephen Musten, II, Andrew Musten, and Daniel Musten all of Kernersville; sister Levana Joyce of Winston-Salem; brother Cubie Musten and Sarah of Kernersville; and numerous nieces nephews and extended family. The family will visit with friends from 3-5pm Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
