Obituary of Allen Anderson

Kernersville- Allen "Andy" Irvin Anderson, 63, went home to be with his Lord Friday September 23, 2011. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 2:00pm Thursday September 29, 2011 at Main Street United Methodist Church in Kernersville with Rev. Dr. Jeff Patterson, Rev. Rick Carter, and Rev. Dale Hilton officiating. A native of The Dalles, Oregon, he was the son of the late Marjorie Starkweather Anderson and Irvin Orlo Anderson. Allen proudly served his country with the US Air Force for 4 years. Allen had been a member of Carolina Rescue since 1979, and he became Assistant Chief In January 2003. Allen was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and served in the choir. Survivors include his wife of 38 years Nadine Anderson of Kernersville; daughter Dorinda Bricolo and husband Shaun of Winston-Salem. The family will visit with friends following the service on Thursday at the church.
