Obituary of Maria De Leon

Kernersville-Maria Mercerdes Hernandez DeLeon, 57, passed away on August 3, 2011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM Saturday August 6, 2011 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Paul Dechant, O.S.F.S. officiating. A native of Rocky Hill, Connecticut she was the daughter of the late Dolores De Leon Gonzalez and Juan Hernandez Rodriguez. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. Maria expressed herself thru her art, music and poetry. Survivors include her father Juan Hernandez Rodriguez ; daughter Melina M. Turcotte ; sisters Rita E. Coniglione, Ana R. Ellison; brother Johnny A. Hernandez; granddaughter Lenora Turcotte; grandson Andres Torres. The family will visit with friends immediately following Mass on Saturday at the church.
