Obituary of Jeffrey Stafford

Kernersville – Jeffrey Swain Stafford, Sr., 51, died Saturday July 23, 2011. Services celebrating his life will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday July 27, 2011 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home. A native of Mecklenburg County, Jeff lived most of his life in Kernersville. He was the son of Martha Stafford Martin. He was arguably the best mechanic around and had worked for a number of years at S&R Motors. An outdoorsman, he loved to camp, fish, and all motor sports. He always enjoyed helping others in need. Survivors include his son Jeffrey Swain Stafford, Jr. of the home; mother Martha Stafford Martin and step-father Larry Martin also of the home; numerous friends and his beloved pit bull "Haley". The family will visit with friends from 9am until time for the service at the funeral home.
