Obituary of Donna Campbell

Biography Kernersville-Donna Camby Campbell, 68, Kernersville, formerly of Gaston County went to be with the Lord Saturday May 28, 2011 at 7:05 p.m. at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House of Winston-Salem. Mrs. Campbell was born Sept. 29, 1942 in Gastonia and was the daughter of the late William Lonnie Camby and Lora Lane Camby. She was married to the Late Frank Edward Campbell, Sr. who passed away in Nov. 2010. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, William Kent Camby; a sister, Linda Searcy; a brother, Lee Camby; two nieces, Sandy Searcy and Dottie Camby Johnson; and brother-in-law,Leroy Searcy. Donna is survived by a son, Frank Edward Campbell, Jr. and Michelle of Kernersville; a step-son Timothy F. Campbell (Brenda) of Burnsville; a step-daughter Susan Medlin (Gene) of Statesville; a brother, Wayne Camby of Gastonia; a brother-in-law, Bill Campbell (Mary Ann) of Hendersonville; a sister-in-law, Barbara Campbell of Louisville,KY; seven grandchildren, Beth Underwood (Duane) of Statesville, Joe Campbell (Kelly) of Lawsonville, Tony Campbell (Candi) of Winston-Salem, Sherry Campbell of Burnsville; Ashley and Whitney Campbell both of Clover, SC., and William Rheinheimer of Kernersville; three great grandchildren, Zac, Katie and Emily Underwood all of Statesville; also surviving are three nieces and four nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 5 p.m. at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home in Kenersville with family receiving friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Gastonia at a later date.
