Obituary of Traven Keigley

Biography Kernersville-Traven Olsson Keigley, 16, died March 30, 2011 from injuries received in an automobile accident. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM Monday April 4, 2011 at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Paul Dechant O.S.F.S. officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery. A memorial service will also be held in Pickerington at a later date. A native of Guilford County, Traven was the son of Julie Olsson Keigley and Shane Keigley. He had attended Southeast Middle School prior to moving to Pickerington, Ohio with his family. He currently is a 10th grade student at Pickerington High School North. He was a member of the Southeast Middle School and Pickerington High School Soccer teams and was a star mid-fielder for both teams. Traven enjoyed all sports, and loved hunting and fishing with his friends, Gramps, and his Dad. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish in Pickerington. Traven was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Stan Olsson and his uncle Jim Olsson. Survivors include his mother and father Julie Olsson Keigley and Shane Keigley both of Pickerington, OH; brother Tyler Keigley of Pickerington, OH; maternal grandmother Pat Olsson of Ames, IA; paternal grandmother Dr. Broxanne Spencer of Charleston, SC; paternal grandfather Paul Keigley and Louann of Ames, IA; paternal great-grandmother Lavon Brown of Ames, IA; aunts Shantel Keigley, Carla Turner(Charley), Rochelle Rivers(Fred), and Marlene Austin(Chris); uncles Matt Olsson, and Brett Meyer; and numerous extended family and friends. The family will visit with friends from 4-7pm Sunday April 3, 2011 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home and a Rosary service will be held at 6:30PM on Sunday.
