Obituary of Edward Martin

Biography Kernersville - Edward Elquan Martin, 21, departed his life suddenly Friday February 18, 2011. Services celebrating his life will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday February 23, 2011 at The Church of the Living God with Elder Isaac Martin, and Bishop Clayton Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Lowe's Memorial Cemetery in Oak Ridge. "Quan" as he was affectionately called was born September 15, 1989 to Beverly Martin and Edward Lowery. He attended Carver High School in Winston Salem. Quan enjoyed singing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving friend to those that he knew. He was preceded in death by his parental grandfather, Vernell Martin. He leaves to cherish his memories, one son whom he adored, Edward Trey-Shaun Martin; mother Beverly "Bonnie" Martin; father Edward Lowery; sister Beverly "Lashae" Martin; grandmother Naomi Martin all of Kernersville; niece Deja Welch; and one nephew Jayden Welch.
