Obituary of Michael Jones

Kernersville - Michael Dean "Mike" Jones, 54, went home to be with his Lord January 31, 2011. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 2:00PM Friday February 4, 2011 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Murphy officiating. Mike was born January 26, 1957, to Wanda Evelyn Gentry Jones and Kyle Lesley Jones. He was a 1975 graduate of East Forsyth High School, and was employed with US Industrial Piping Company. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mike enjoyed NASCAR, boating, swimming, and playing with his dogs "Grizzly" and "Sable". He embraced life in general, and simply adored his family and all life had to offer. Survivors include his parents Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Jones of Kernersville; sisters Annetta Jones Teeter and Warren of Winston-Salem, and Leslie Jones Turner and John of Greensboro; nieces Laura Teeter and Ashley Teeter Bitting and Aaron, and Casey Turner; nephew Matthew Turner; and a large extended loving family. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the funeral home on Friday. Service Information
