Obituary of Delores Overby

Winston-Salem- Delores Ann Tullock Overby, 75, died March 13, 2015. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 3:00PM Tuesday March 17, 2015 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery. Delores was born January 20, 1940 in Winston-Salem to the late Bessie Odell Tullock and James Eli Tullock. She was also preceded in death by her husband Lee Overby and brothers Charles Dean, James Eugene and Ernie Tullock; sister Mary L. Shoe and a great-granddaughter Sierra Overby. Survivors include her sons Jimmy Overby and wife Tricia and Dennis Tullock and wife Mary; grandchildren Christie, Angie, Dennis, Elizabeth and Ronnie; great-grandchildren Kylie, Reanna, Ashland, Callie, Josh, Shane, Cameron, Bentley, Silas and Gage; sisters Betty L. Sheets and Shirley Garner. She is also survived by her beloved pet, Smokey. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM until time of the service at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Chapel.
