Obituary of Margaret Hodgin

Kernersville-Margaret Calhoun Hodgin, 66, went home to be with her Lord Tuesday June 4, 2013. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 11AM Friday June 7, 2013 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel. Interment will follow in the Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. A native of Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late Effie and Jessie Calhoun. She had worked for a number of years Cone Mills Revolution Plant in Greensboro and the Amoco Foam Products also in Greensboro. She loved her family first and foremost, her pride and joy was her grandson Tyler, but thoroughly enjoyed painting, camping, traveling, fishing, and watching movies. Her dog, "Baby", will truly miss her. Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years James Hodgin of the home; daughter Laura Hodgin of Greensboro; and grandson Tyler Hodgin of Greensboro. The family will visit with friends from 10AM until time for the funeral services on Friday at the funeral home.
