Obituary of Rez Delmere "R.D." Patterson, III

Mr. Rez Delmere “R.D.” Patterson, III, 79, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2024.

 

A native of Liberty, NC, R.D. was the husband of the late Barbara Bryant Patterson and the son of Dr. Rez Delmere Patterson, II and Cleo York Patterson, both deceased. R.D. was a foreman of 30 years at Carolina Cast Stone, Greensboro, NC.

 

Survivors include his daughter, Michelle Patterson Dempsey and Stephen of Kernersville, NC; sons, Mark Aaron Patterson of Kernersville, NC, and Charles York Patterson and Robyn of Fountain Inn, SC; brother, John Patterson of Greensboro, NC; nephews, Dave Patton and Bill Patton, both of Greensboro, NC; and niece, Amber Dollarhite Williams of Kernersville, NC.

 

In addition to his wife and parents, R.D. was preceded in death by his sister, Patty Patterson Patton.
