Obituary of Benjamin Revilla

Benjamin Revilla, 78, passed away November 20, 2019 at the Hospice Home of High Point. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00AM Tuesday November 26, 2019 at Holy Cross Catholic Church.  Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona.

Ben was born December 7, 1940 in El Paso, Texas to late Emilia and Roberto Revilla.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Roberto, Celso, Raul, and Angel.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Agnes Jones Revilla; son, Benjamin Revilla, Jr.; daughter Amorette Gent and husband Greg; grandchildren, Owen, Conor and, Patrick; brother, Roberto Revilla and numerous extended family members.

Ben graduated from Austin High School in El Paso.  Following graduation, he enlisted in the US Air Force and served his country honorably for four years. Ben lived in Torrance, California after his military service.  This is where he met the love of his life, Agnes. They lived in El Paso for 25 years followed by Kernersville for 24 years. Ben was an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Ben had a lifelong passion for traveling, cars and trucks.  He was in the process of rebuilding a 1966 Chevy pick-up truck.

Ben was a true people person.  He never met a stranger and was always willing to help out others.

There will be a Vigil Service at 5:00PM Monday November 25, 2019 at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
