Obituary of David Lee Solomon

David Lee Solomon, 56, of Greensboro, North Carolina, passed away on September 12, 2023. 

David graduated from Northeast High School in 1985. He attended college at St. Andrews, where he studied Engineering. He served as a  Stock Team Lead at Walmart for fourteen years. 

David enjoyed spending time with his family and could always be depended on to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was an avid reader and loved being immersed in the fantastical worlds of a great book. He maintained a calm and steady demeanor, not one to impose his presence but always willing to step in and provide support when needed. He made you believe that you could be or do anything and he would be in the audience cheering you on every step of the way. Seeing the people he cared most about succeed was his greatest joy. His legacy lives on in the morals he instilled, the lessons he shared, and the lives he touched. 

He is survived by his doting mother, Judy Solomon; his loving fiance, Hasanah Salleh; his brother Michael Brown, his four children, Kiara Lamb, Robert Lamb, Katrina Solomon, and Kimberly Solomon; and his grandson, Aleksander Kasprzak. He was preceded in death by his father, Garland “Jim” Solomon.

The family will greet friends Saturday, September 16 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N O’Henry Blvd. Greensboro, NC 27405 on Sunday, September 17 at 1:00pm.
