You carried me on your pocket. I was always safe. Now I'll carry you in my heart forevermore. I miss you so much my sista. There are no words to describe the emptiness inside of me. I love you.
Shirley was a very kind giving person. Her husband Skip definitely watched over her and took great care of her when she needed it.
I played Bunco with her for several years and enjoyed her company so much. She loved her family and her dogs .
She painted a Santa Claus picture for me and I will definitely cherish it.
I will be out of town and miss her funeral but my prayers will be for her and her family. She is in a heavenly place.
Rest in peace sweet lady.
Rest in Jesus Aunt Shirley. In all my life I have never met a more loving person. Although we have lived so far apart I always loved her comments on fb. I will miss you.
The first time I went to Washington DC was to visit Skip and Shirley. My brother Wayne, sister Eileen and I flew out and we stayed at Skip and Shirley’s house in Virginia They took us to the attractions in the area. We had a great time! It was kind of them and they graciously opened their home to us, which they did often for our family in the many places they lived.
I’ll miss you Shirley.
Love
