Obituary of Woodrow Ronnie Reynolds

Woodrow Ronnie Reynolds born September 23, 1939 to Woodrow C. Reynolds and Lucille Nicely in Huntington, WV, passed into eternity October 2, 2017. A faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ, Ronnie always strived to lead others to a personal relationship with God. He bravely served in the United States Army as part of the 101st Airborne division. Following his military service, he completed his bachelor's degree at Marshall University and later attended Southeastern Theological Seminary where he earned his Masters of Divinity. Ronnie was ordained as a minister on October 26, 1969. He served with the International Mission Board for 10 years in Argentina and later in multiple states as part of the North American Mission Board. He was an active member at Northside Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Glenda Arton Reynolds; his four children, Woodrow Ronnie Reynolds Jr. (Debbie), Nona Reynolds Burns, Lollis Reynolds (Virginia), Rebecca Reynolds; grandchildren Justin Kuehne, Paul Reynolds, Sarah Gaulding, Adam Reynolds, Sarah Burns Whitener, Joshua Reynolds and Joel Reynolds; 11 great grandchildren; sister Debbie Chapman, and step-mother Juanita Burnett Reynolds. A graveside service will be held at Lea Bethel Baptist Church in Prospect Hill, NC at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 7th.
