Obituary of William R. Torain

Deacon William Richard Torain, age 71 of Greensboro, passed away Friday June 16, at Moses Cone Hospital. There will be a funeral service held Tuesday June 20, 12 pm at East White Oak Missionary Baptist Church in Greensboro, with burial to follow in Lakeview Memorial Park. William was born June 9, 1946 to the late Charlie and Alveta Richmond Torain in Alamance County, NC. He served his country in the U.S. Army, was an author, created his own website, and has served in church since he was twelve years old. Surviving are his wife Laura Torain of the home, two sons; Juan Torain and wife Jeanette of Winston Salem, NC, Richard Parrish Torain and wife Beverly of Burlington, NC, a sister Verna Torain of Greensboro, two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
