Eighth Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

The City of Greensboro is hosting its eighth annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at 9 am, Saturday, September 14, to honor the multitude of public safety personnel who perished at the World Trade Center. Residents are invited to participate in the event at the Bellemeade Parking Deck, 220 N. Greene St.

Participants have the option of climbing the flights of stairs at the Bellemeade Deck nine times, representing approximately 73 flights of stairs – the equivalent of the highest floor New York Fire Department firefighters reached on 9/11.

Greensboro Social Dance Club Monthly Dance

Dedication Ceremony & Open House

All are invited to tour our recently renovated facility at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral & Cremation Services at 300 West Wendover Avenue in Greensboro.

Dr. Jay Lambeth, pastor of St. Paul Presbyterian Church in Greensboro and son of the late F. Odell Lambeth (founder of Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home), will officiate a Chapel Dedication ceremony at 5:15 PM. There will be refreshments and tours of the newly remodeled facility. The public is invited to attend and meet our staff, ask questions, have refreshments, and join in our memory of Mr. F. Odell Lambeth.
