Obituary of Vicki M. Scott Cassell

Vicki M. Scott Cassell, 71, passed away June 28, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be 2:00PM Sunday July 1, 2018 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Charles Arnold.  Burial will immediately follow in Westminster Gardens Cemetery.

Vicki was born June 13, 1947 in Greensboro to the late Mozelle and Wade Morris.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 29 years, Raymond Cassell; children, Michael Archer, Michelle Scales, Marc Scott and wife JoAnn, Matt Scott and wife Chris; step-children, Cherryl Ann Tolinson and husband Vladimir, Randy Cassell, Vince Cassell and Tracy; grandchildren, Kelly Comer and husband Bill, Jason Archer, Ashley Crowder, Kirstyn Scales, Justin Crowder, Abby Scott, William Scott, Katelyn Scott, Peyton Scott, Kris Cassell, Jacob Cassell, Tasha Tolinson, and Christy Burgardt  and numerous  great-grandchildren.

Vicki was known for her great sense of humor.  She loved spending time with her family, at the beach, family cook-outs and holidays.  Vicki had a passion for animals; this included rescuing many dogs from the animal shelter.

The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 1:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Hospice & Palliative Care of Greensboro, Guilford County Animal Shelter or The National Alzheimer’s Association.
