Obituary of Ileen Mayberry McKinney

Ileen Mayberry McKinney, 96, went home to be with the Lord December 2, 2018.

Graveside Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held     Wednesday December 5, 2018 at Lakeview Memorial Park.

A native of Halifax, Virginia, Ileen was the daughter of the late Grace Odell Daniels and Malcolm David Mayberry. She had worked for AT&T for over twenty-five years.

In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Herbert Brooks, and her second husband David Malcolm McKinney.

Survivors include her daughters Pat Shropshire of Greensboro, Wanda Thornburg and Tim of High Point, and Sybil Holt and Randy of Greensboro; son Larry Brooks and Sharon of Archdale; six grandchildren, sister, Lillian Lewey,  and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
