Obituary of Joan Miller

Lexington-Joan Crews Miller, 73, went home to be with the Lord February 14, 2019.

Joan was a native of Forsyth County, and was born to the late Antoinette Anderson and Hansel Crews. She had worked for thirty-five years, and retired from Parkdale Mills in Lexington.

Survivors include her daughters, Amanda Deweese of Lexington, and Debbie Walters and Tom of Lexington; son, Keith Swaim and Shauna of Winston-Salem; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Betsy Hutcherson and George of Wallburg, Carol Matthews of Winston-Salem, and Linda Stewart of Hickory; brother, Todd Crews and Dawn of Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
