Obituary of John Evan "Jack" Coyle

John Evan “Jack” Coyle, 83, of Kernersville passed away peacefully Sunday May 19, 2019.

Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service Chapel on Saturday May 25, 2019 at 11:00AM with Rev. Rick Carter officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service on Saturday.

A native of Mechanicsburg, PA, John was the husband of 58 years to Marjorie Coyle and the son of the late, Howard James Coyle and Margaret Williams Coyle. John was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired after a 36 year career with AMP Inc. in Carlisle, PA and Greensboro, NC.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie of the home; daughters, Sherrie Coyle of Charlotte, NC, and Colleen Aitken and husband, Todd of Kernersville, NC; sons, Jim Coyle and wife, Cynthia of Kernersville, NC, and Terry Coyle and wife, Wanda of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Tyler Coyle, Rachel Coyle, Jamie Coyle, Jake Coyle, Drew Aitken, and Emma Aitken; sister, Marlene Lanza and husband, James of Harrisburg, PA.

In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Coulson; grandson, Anthony Campolo.
