Obituary of Carol Sapp Dixon

Carol Sapp Dixon, 58, of Kernersville passed away peacefully Monday May 27, 2019.

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service Chapel on Friday May 31, 2019 at 1:00PM with Rev. Jimmy Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn, Gardens of Memory.

A native of Forsyth County, Carol was the daughter of the late Rufus Leo Sapp, Sr. and Lillie Elizabeth Eanes. She was an avid NASCAR fan and Washington Redskins fan. Carol loved spending time with family and friends. She was a “Mom” to all who knew her.

Survivors include her daughters, Crystal Enos and husband, Bruce of Salisbury, NC, and Peggy Williams and husband, Michael of Kernersville, NC; grandchildren, Lillie, Amber, and Paul; step-grandchildren, William, Bry, and Bub; and brother, Rufus Leo “Butch” Sapp, Jr. and wife, Susan of Kernersville, NC.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Morphies; and brother, Bobby Sapp, Sr.

The family will visit with friends at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service Thursday May 30, 2019 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

Immediately following the committal service on Friday, the family will receive friends at the residence of, Bobby Sapp, Jr., 305 Lily Dr., Kernersville, NC 27284.
